November Reviews, Part 1

I’ve finished my first 5 book reviews for November. (Ok, full disclosure? It’s actually like 3 I was able to squeeze in at the end of October and 2 more for November. Also, I’ve technically JUST finished a second five … so I’m a little behind. UGH) Anyway, let’s dive into the details.

Statistics

Age Category: 3 A, 2 YA

Pretty typical for me, yes?

Author’s Gender: 4 F, 1 M

Ok one of these female authored books was co-authored by a male. I counted it as female because Amie Kaufman is listed before Jay Kristoff. Whatever … one more reason to hate tracking this, I guess.

Genres: 1 NonFiction, 1 Contemporary, 1 Science Fiction, 1 Fantasy, 1 Mystery/Thriller

Doubt that I read everything? Let’s call this exhibit A.

Indie Authors: 2 Y, 3 N

Decently close to half-and-half, just the way I like it.

Total Pages Read: 1,662

Average Pages per Book: 332

Did anyone out there manage to look back on my old posts and tell me if this is normal? I’m going to go out on a limb and guess it’s higher than normal, thanks to the size of Illuminae.

Ratings: 2, 3, 3, 3, 5

I love when the problematic books are balanced out by the genre-crossing 5 stars awesomeness. That makes for a good reading group.
