June WRAP UP

- Write 1000 Words (per day)
- FAILED
- I averaged 906 words per day
- I wrote a grand total of 27,192 words this month
- Part of the problem making this goal was the fact that I also CUT some words from the book I was editing. When you write 1,200 but cut 400 you miss the goal for the day. But the book is better and that, my friends, is more important.
- My best day was the 13th with a total of 3,704 words!
- Read 150 Pages (per day)
- FAILED
- Only in my crazy world where I set these high goals for myself would finishing 11 books and reading 4,098 pages be considered failing. BBBUUUTTT technically, failing is what we must call it.
- I averaged 136 pages per day
- I read a grand total of 11 books this month (watch my review wrap up here)
- Edit 2 Chapters per day
- ACHIEVED
- I averaged just slightly over 2 chapters per day
- All of these, fans will be glad to hear, were on Kingdom of Fraun book 3. It’s coming along, folks.
- Post at least 2 shorts to the blog
- ACHIEVED
- I posted Shadows in the Night, Invisible, Flirting, and Depression
- Post new videos to YouTube on Tuesdays
- ACHIEVED
- I posted videos every Tuesday, have you subscribed yet?
WINS
- I also had some WINS that weren’t necessarily goals.
- I posted to my Instagram page at least 60% of the days (I’ve been neglecting my group there and wanted to remedy that) and posted to Twitter literally every day in June.
- I finished the second full editing pass on the third Kingdom of Fraun book. I’ve started the fixes on those, including 2 new story arcs that were DESPERATELY needed. Very soon this book will be ready for beta readers and ONE STEP CLOSER to all of you!
JULY GOALS

I’m keeping these the same because it still basically worked, it’s summer, my kids are home, and I still have books to edit.
- Write 1000 words per day
- Read 150 Pages per day
- Edit 2 Chapters Per Day
- Post at least 2 shorts to the blog
- Post new videos to YouTube on Tuesdays
WRITING GAMES

- #authorconfession and #SmoreWords will continue over on Twitter. I’m also adding in #theMerryWriter this month because it deals with VILLAINS (a personal favorite topic).
- Over on Instagram (which I’m terrible at keeping up with) I’ll probably pop in and out of #Bookaholicsinjuly19 and #JulyFalls19 which is actually a poetry challenge. I’m excited/nervous for the poetry one because I started as a poet but it’s been awhile since I really connected with my inner poet.
- If you know of any other cool games I should be playing in July, drop them in the comments!
