Book Notes That Didn’t Make the Video

Stonebearer’s Betrayal

  • This was an electronic copy sent to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.
  • The fun part about this one is it subverts everywhere you THINK it’s going. I’ve read a LOT of YA Fantasy and there are just some things you expect. I thoroughly enjoyed being surprised with this one.
  • Anyway, support indie authors and get yourself a copy here

Chimera: An Anthology

  • This was an electronic review copy sent to me by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
  • Short story anthologies are cool because there’s always a favorite story. For me, in this one, it’s Banshee Song.

The Tech

  • This was an electronic review copy sent to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.
  • I see a lot of people in their reviews mentioning that this would make an amazing television series. I think the draw to that is that the PREMISE has promise and a TV show would allow for the characters to be flushed out more. I fully agree with this idea!

Scars of Cereba

  • This was an electronic ARC sent to be my the author in exchange for an honest review.
  • This is the sequel to Last Memoria, which I previously rated 5 stars.
  • Basically, I fell in love with the complex characters in this duology in book 1 and they don’t disappoint in book 2. Well done series, highly recommended.
  • Grab book 1 here or preorder book 2 here.

A Soul Fractured

  • This was an electronic review copy sent to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.
  • This really is an original take on a fantasy tale, since you don’t often see them set in Hell. Including the 7 circles of Hell, which was definitely the focus of the first book, is a stroke of genius. Love that creativity!
