Ok, this time I actually forgot! I was looking at the wrap up for June, sort of regretting how much I struggled this month, and saw that I haven’t done the poem! Never fear, this all happened on the 30th … which means I haven’t failed YET!
Quick, a prompt idea (making this one up on the fly, so I only have myself to blame if it’s cliche):
Write a poem from the POV of a forgotten item in the attic.
Now, to spice this one up just a little and add to the challenge we’ll also give it some additional requirements. I had Google generate some random numbers between 1-5 for the number of stanzas, the number of lines in each stanza, and the number of words in each line. Google went with 4, 5, and 4.
Behold: my poem about a forgotten attic item with 4 stanzas each with 5 lines of 4 words.

Is it my best? Nope! But it’s done just in time to wrap up June.
Oh … as always, if you try the challenge let me know! I’d love to see what you all come up with.
